A batch can not be posted until:
Use the Batch Inquiry to confirm that Batch is ready to be posted. The first step in the post is to back up the data base. This can be bypassed under some circumstances. The attendant risk is that more than one batch would have to be re-entered if a problem is encountered during or after posting.
